This is a specific form of Hyperhidrosis with symptoms of excessive armpit sweating. It is based on a different pathophysiological mechanism. This can be treated by ETS or ETS-C, but patients may experience a more severe level of "Compensatory Sweating". Patients who experience axillary sweating as a secondary condition (with severe handsweat as a primary condition) may be a better surgery candidate.
